VELLUM CO. was not born in a Parisian design house. It was born on the factory floors of Jalandhar, India—the quiet engine room of global luxury leather.

For decades, the world’s most prestigious fashion labels have sourced their full-grain Nappa from our origin city. They export the raw hides, attach a heritage label, and apply a 1,000% markup to the final garment. We realized the true value of luxury is not the woven tag on the collar; it is the uncompromising quality of the skin itself.

Bridging the Geography of Craft.

Operating as a direct-to-consumer studio based in Canada, VELLUM CO. eliminates the flight to Europe and the middleman markup. We design structural, minimalist outerwear and manufacture it exactly where the world’s best leather is tanned.

The Architecture of Skin.

We view leather not as fabric, but as armor. Our garments are engineered with architectural precision, utilizing high stitch-counts (SPI) and frictionless premium linings. We reject synthetic fillers, corrected grains, and the illusion of false heritage. Every natural variation in the grain is proof of its authenticity.

The Archive Model.

To maintain our unyielding standard of quality, we do not follow seasonal fashion calendars. We release outerwear in strictly limited, numbered batches. Once an archive is closed, the garments are gone.

No prominent logos. No retail margins. Just paper patterns and Grade-A skin.
